Randy Hansen has been a professional Artist for over 50 years

Drawing upon the soul of the desert hel captures the power of life and the tenacity that the desert celebrates. The artist presents his interpretation of the desert through photographic impressionism 

Having been an artist all his life, it was not until Randall moved to the Great Basin that he discovered that his spirit resonated with the soul of the desert.  Being immersed in the desert has a hallucinatory effect on one’s senses. This perception is presented in his photographs and the presentation of desert patterns.

In the desert there is a relationship between life and death, where each one makes the other beautiful, the Universe playing on reclamation.  Some believe that the energy and soul of all desert life upon death, transfers to the stones of the desert.  The artist’s acclaimed desert photographs explore this Universal spirit
